katsu over rice was fine, though expensive.maki was not very good, fish was passable only, and clumsily assembled. delivery was quick. momoya is a better option

The sushi was pretty bland. Places like Haru and Matsu are definitely better, and are about the same price.

I'm a repeat customer of Kouzan due to their food quality and pleasant service inside the restaurant. However, they need to correct the attitude of their delivery person. When he arrived with a scowl I asked if he was OK. He sarcastically responded: "Oh yes, thank you. $25, you're our number 1 customer." Apparently he was upset with the size of the order and tip. My gratuity is the same as what Seamless Web suggests, which is generously over 10% of the pre-tax total. Not a bad deal for a 3-block bike ride. And I ordered 2 lunches, not feeding a family of 6 here. He also neglected to include the side salad. I won't be ordering online from Kouzan again until this is corrected. I also will be speaking with the staff prior to dining in their restaurant again. A shame since overall their food is great.

The Chirashi is really horrible. Supposedly "10 pieces of sashimi", but that includes two tiny pieces of octopus and a frozen shrimp. And all the pieces were tiny--about the size of a pink pencil eraser. Very disappointed.

Very good although a bit expensive for Japanese. The Bento Boxes are excellent and the Miso Soup is a perfect combination of flavors. The sushi is fresh and savory. Steer clear of the fried calamari as it is not a good delivery option, arrives overcooked and soggy. Try Kouzan it may become one of your favorites.
